Excellent book from AGU, “Rainfall: State of the Science”. It’s their Geophysical Monograph Series, no. 191. A collection of bleeding-edge articles that any hydrologist or meteorologist would enjoy; my favorites include, “Frequency Analysis of Extreme Rainfall Events” and “Methods and Data Sources for Spatial Prediction of Rainfall”. I highly recommend!
